Today is Pentencost Sunday, wake up.

Today is Pentencost Sunday and, I just woke up. It’s interesting that the first thing that I sensed was not the sound of my kids nor the sweet smell of my wife. Not the taste of cafezinho nor the beautiful sight of nature here in Brasil but the intimate, embracing and, intense blow of the wind against my skin.

The Spirit is wind (ruah) and it blows wherever and whenever it pleases, for it is unbound and uncontrolled.

I do know however that when and if  it’s hovering it’s creating,

when and if it’s breathing it’s giving new life,

when and if it’s whispering it’s speaking,

when and if it’s moving it’s guiding,

when and if it’s blowing it’s sending.

It always is.

I felt it today on this Pentencost Sunday and it woke me up. I pray you will feel it too. Wake up!

Hi Felipe, this was a refreshing post to read. I’m in Mexico right now and I’ve just begun my Hebrew studies and recently learned the word “ruah”. I’ll be in Miami next Sunday visiting Crossbridge, but if you’re still in Brasil and I don’t see you, I send my greetings and wish you the best,
